Some people say Yorkshire puddings are just for beef roast dinner. I say they are for any roast dinner I like, thank you very much! This is why they are a staple in our house and especially at Christmastime. Yorkshire puddings are easy to make, and once you know how there are other dishes the batter mix can be used for like, Toad in the Hole and pancakes.
You will need:
12 Cup oven tray
Vegetable or sunflower oil
2 Eggs
3 ½ oz/100g Flour
3 ½ fl oz/ 100ml Milk
Salt and pepper

Method:
Preheat oven to 220ºC.
Add a small splash of oil to each cup in the oven tray and place into the oven, until the oil is very hot. Roughly 10 minutes.
Beat the eggs, flour and milk together until smooth and season with salt and pepper. (If you do this in a jug the next part will be easier)
Pour the batter mix evenly into each of the oven tray cups.
Return to the oven for 15-17 minutes or until
they rise up and turn golden brown.

Serve hot and enjoy.
